  • What is Cspect

    Cspect is a "real-time oscilloscope/spectrum analyzer" (author's words). It lets the user analyze audio signals coming through an input port (microphone, line-in, or digital).

    Installation Method

    All of the subsystems for this product can be installed using IRIX. You do not need to use the miniroot. Refer to the Software Installation Administrator's Guide for complete installation instructions.

    Prerequisites

    You must be running an IRIS workstation capable of audio input/output. This includes:
    Indigo, Indigo2, Indy, Power Indigo2, and Onyx with the Audio/Serial Option.

    Compatibility

    This software is compatible with IRIX 5.3 and IRIX 6.x.

    Known Problems and Workarounds:

    There is no "Quit" option on Cspect. To stop Cspect, use the window manager controls. "Close" closes a particular window, and "Exit" exits all windows.
